Mike Muirhead, CFBS

Special Needs Planner

Mike's mission as a financial professional is to help every one of his clients lead a better, more secure financial life.  Since June 1995, Mike has worked with families, business owners, physicians and other professionals, executives, retirees and pre-retirees on financial strategies to help them protect their income, provide for their employees and families, plan for a secure retirement, and leave the legacy they choose for their heirs and community.

Mike begins each new client relationship by conducting an thorough review of all his clients financial and legal documents to gain a complete understanding of each client's total financial picture. The planning tools he uses tests the outcome of each suggested scenario.  He knows that no financial decision should be made in a vacuum because every decision can have a large effect on the client's financial future. Mike believes strongly in providing his clients with a financial education so they fully understand their options and can make educated decisions with complete knowledge of what actions they are taking and why these actions are appropriate for them. He always collaborates with the clients other advisors such as attorneys and CPAs to make sure that all recommendations fit together for the client's best interests.

Mike is a Special Needs Planner capable of assisting families whose members have a physical, psychological or learning disability. Planning for these families is vitally important and requires the utilization of specific techniques, such as special needs trusts, so that public services are still available to the affected person. He has a thorough understanding of the financial aspects of working with special needs families, including Social Security integration. In addition, he can advise clients on the need for having a written life plan, which includes the discussion of guardianship and future living arrangements.

Mike is a Certified Family Business Specialist, receiving the designation in 2000 from the American College. This certification and training allows him to provide expertise to owners of family-owned businesses and closely-held corporations. Important issues like taxation, buy sell planning, business valuation, key person, and exit strategy planning for owners are several of the areas on which Mike can advise his clients. He has many years of experience in estate and tax planning concepts, and the emotional dynamics of family businesses and generational succession planning.

Mike has been and continues to be recognized for his financial services industry achievements. He is a member of the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors (NAIFA). He is very involved in the local community as a member of the Wichita Falls Bureau of Commerce and Industry and supports many local charities, non-profits and philanthropic efforts including participating and sponsoring the Autism Awareness WF 5K Run, The Boy Scouts of America, The Kitchen (providing meals to local elderly and adults with disabilities), Muscular Dystrophy Association, Big Brothers-Big Sisters, and Alzheimer’s Association to name a few. Mike is also a former President of Partners in Education (PIE), a PIE mentor and the Board of Governors for Texas Specialty Hospital.

Mike holds a general securities license in 13 states and an insurance license in 7 states. Offices of Financial Partners are located in Wichita Falls, Austin, Marble Falls and at two locations in the Dallas-Ft. Worth metroplex.

Mike and his wife Tammie, who works side by side with him as his office manager, have been married since June 1980. Their favorite pastime is spending time with the family, which includes 2 daughters and sons-in-law as well as their grandchildren. When there is free time, they enjoy travel, fine dining, and an occasional round of golf.


Kelly Fristoe, LUTCF

Kelly Fristoe is a Financial Services Representative with Financial Partners. Kelly's broad knowledge of insurance and financial strategies gives his clients the confidence they need when working with a financial services representative.

Professionally, Kelly has been a member of the National Association of Health Underwriters (NAHU) since 1993. He has volunteered his service in that industry organization in numerous board and committee positions. He served as President of the Texoma Chapter (1995/1996), President of the Texas Association of Health Underwriters (TAHU, 2012/2013), and Region 6 Vice President of the National Association of Health Underwriters (2014-2016). Kelly has also been a very active member of the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors. He has been a member of that industry organization since 1991 and has served in many board and committee positions over the years. Kelly was President of the Wichita Falls Chapter in 1998-1999 and again in 2004-2005. The Wichita Falls Chapter awarded him their Agent of the Year Award in 1998. Kelly served the Texas Chapter as a Regional Director from 2000 to 2003. In 2005 Kelly graduated from NAIFA's Leadership In Life Institute program (LILI).

Kelly's achievements include, In 2006 Kelly was awarded the TAHU Volunteer of the Year award. In 2007, the Texoma Chapter awarded Kelly with the Agent of the Year Award. Then in 2012 the National Association of Health Underwriters honored Kelly with the NAHU Presidential Citation as well as the Robert W. Osler Professional Development Award for outstanding achievement in promoting health insurance educational activities. That same year NAHU also awarded him with their Distinguished Service Award for outstanding and dedicated service to NAHU and the health insurance industry. TAHU also honored Kelly with the Tom Schilling Outstanding Texan of the Year Award (2012). In 2013, TAHU awarded him with the Ken Martin Award for Excellence in Communication for excellence in professionalism, reputation, and character. This award is the highest and most prestigious journalism and public speaking award that TAHU can bestow on a member.

In his free time, Kelly's life is devoted to his family and community. Kelly and his wife, Jana, have been married since 1989 and have 3 daughters; Lindsey, Raychel, and Paige. He very much enjoys being a part of his children’s lives and his community. Kelly has served as President of the school board at Wichita Christian School and continues to serve as a school board member. Also, Kelly serves on the Board of Directors at United Regional Health Care System.

Cherrie Bradberry

Agent/Administrative Assistant

Cherrie Bradberry has been with Financial Partners since 2011.  She is a licensed insurance agent in the state of Texas who has her Small Group Specialist (SGS) designation. Cherrie has been an active member of the National Association of Health Underwriters (NAHU) since 2012. Since joining, she has held the following positions:

2015: NAHU’s Emerging Leader Award Recipient

Cherrie has become a fierce advocate, since working here, when it comes to dealing with complicated policy issues between our clients and the insurance carriers. Her experience and knowledge of the Health Insurance Marketplace is beneficial when helping you choose the proper health insurance policy for you and your family.

Cherrie is passionate about serving the community she lives and works in. For the last four years, she has been a Board Member of the Young Professionals of Wichita Falls serving as its Secretary. Cherrie has been involved with planning and organizing the Wichita Falls Leadership Breakfast for the local business community that benefits Wichita Christian School. Cherrie is also a member of the Sheppard Military Affairs Committee Young Ambassadors Program through Sheppard Air Force Base.

Cherrie is a proud mom of her daughter, Saydie, who attends Iowa Park High School. She and her daughter have both been raised in the Iowa Park community. Saydie is a member of the Iowa Park Hawk Varsity Tennis team and a part of the drumline for Iowa Park’s Mean Green Marching Machine. Saydie is also a talented artist who has won ribbons for her paintings at the Texas/Oklahoma State Fair.

Raychel Moore

Raychel Moore is a licensed Insurance Agent with Financial Partners.  She graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Geology from Midwestern State University in Wichita Falls, TX.  Raychel is a member of the National Association of Health Underwriters and currently serves as the Professional Development Committee Chair and Program Chair for the local chapter of the Texoma Association of Health Underwriters. Raychel has what it takes to help you traverse through the insurance maze. Being related to Kelly Fristoe (his daughter), Raychel has grown up around the health insurance world and knows how complex it really can be. She tries to find the best option to help her clients make the right financial decision.

Isha Brooks

Account Manager

Isha Brooks is a licensed Insurance Agent with Financial Partners and is the newest member of the Financial Partners team. She graduated with a Bachelor of Applied Arts Science degree from Midwestern State University in Wichita Falls, TX.  Isha has an extenvise background as a Human Resource Manager and brings a vast amount of knowledge and experience with her that will allow us to provide even more excellent services with newer and unigue strategies to help our clients make smarter financial decisions in the confusing health insurance environment.  Isha has two chidlren and has lived in the North Texas region for the past twenty years.  Isha is involved in many community outreach programs.  She is a member of the Junior League of Wichita Falls and is an active member of the Young Professionals of Wichita Falls.

Tammie Muirhead

Executive Assistant/Office Manager

Tammie Muirhead began her career with MassMutual long side Mike, in June of 1995. They have been a husband and wife team with MassMutual for 21 years and married 37 years.

Tammie serves as the office manager and executive assistant to Mike. She also handles new business, underwriting and service needs of their clients. The best aspect of her job is getting to know the clients and helping them make a difference in their lives now and in the future in addition to making a difference in the lives of their families for generations to come. Community involvement is of particular interest to Tammie and Financial Partners. She helps to coordinate sponsorship efforts for the WF Autism Awareness 5K, Alzheimer’s Association, Project Back to School, High Heels for Hot Meals, and Boy Scouts of America golf tournament, just to name a few. She appreciates the honor and privilege of serving our clients and the trust they place in Financial Partners.

When not working, Tammie enjoys time with her family- 2 daughters and son-in-law, one grandchild and one grand dog. She enjoys traveling, being outdoors, baking, entertaining family and friends in their home, music, and movies.


Patsy Shaver

Administrative Assistant

With 30 years of administrative experience, Patsy Shaver has wide variety of abilities. While attending college at Midwestern State University, she studied Accounting and Sociology. She went on to provide administrative duties for oil companies, realtors, dentists and military housing. Patsy now brings all of that experience with her to Financial Partners, and she is dedicated to providing all clients with top notch customer service. In her time away from the office, she enjoys time with her husband Brian and their two children, Erin and Phillip, whom they have successfully raised.


Paige Rask

Marketing Coordinator

Paige Rask is able to use the Retail Management degree she obtained from Texas Tech and experience as an Event planner to be the marketing coordinator for Financial Partners. She appreciates the importance of financial planning and insurance and puts her best effort into spreading that message to others. Paige hopes to continue to provide unique opportunities to clients and those interested in our services to learn more how Financial Partners can be a part of their future planning. Paige also takes pride in giving back to the local community both personally and with Financial Partners. In her time off she enjoys spending time with her husband, eating good food and traveling.
